Course Description:

In this 3 hour workshop Kevin will be covering the basic skills and techniques needed to complete simple pendant projects. Students will have the opportunity to try their hand at the ancient art of Lampworking. Pendants will be the main focus of this class, working with various colors, Frits and even some dichroic glass. Each student should be able to complete several pieces.

    Class intended for first timers or someone looking for a refresher course. We will be covering basic flame settings, different types of glass and tools available. As well as simple studio setup.


Instructor Info:

In the spring of 1997 Kevin moved to Boulder Colorado. Soon after began his journey into the world of glass. Surrounded by many creative people Kevin was able to hone his craft, working many years independently and eventually opening his own studio back east. Years of production led Kevin into teaching and eventually consulting for many including Simon Pierce. Kevin now resides in central Massachusetts where runs a family studio alongside his brother.
